First home buyers

NT has no general first home buyer stamp duty concession. However, buyers of eligible house and land packages can claim the House & Land Package Exemption (HLPE) for a full duty waiver (expires June 2027). The HLPE is not restricted to first home buyers. NT also offers Australia's most generous grant: the $50,000 HomeGrown Territory Grant for new homes.
