What are the four types of Additional Child Care Subsidy?
The four pathways are Child Wellbeing, Grandparent, Temporary Financial Hardship and Transition to Work. Each has different eligibility evidence, payment settings and application steps.
How much can Additional Child Care Subsidy cover?
Grandparent, Temporary Financial Hardship and Child Wellbeing can generally cover up to 100% of the fee, with support capped at 120% of the relevant hourly rate cap. Transition to Work is capped at 95% of the fee or hourly cap.
Who applies for ACCS Child Wellbeing?
The approved child care provider applies for the Child Wellbeing pathway. Families apply to Services Australia for the Grandparent, Temporary Financial Hardship and Transition to Work pathways.
