What stamp duty concession do SA first home buyers get?
Since June 2024, first home buyers in SA get a full stamp duty exemption on new homes with no value cap. Established homes do not receive any concession.
Do first home buyers get a concession on established homes?
No. If you purchase an established home as a first home buyer in SA, you pay the full standard stamp duty. The exemption only applies to new homes.
Can I get both the FHOG and stamp duty exemption?
Yes. If you're buying a new home, you can receive both the $15,000 First Home Owner Grant and the full stamp duty exemption.
