Matching method

Published business products, without a consumer-rate shortcut

The explorer starts with the CDR business-loans category, applies explicit minimum and maximum amount constraints, and keeps positive periodic fixed or variable rates with a published P&I or interest-only structure. Discount, penalty, market-linked and non-lending rows are not promoted into standalone offers.

Business facilities can differ in security, purpose, eligibility, fees and negotiated pricing. Results are therefore ordered by the published headline rate, not a consumer comparison-rate proxy. Open provider details before using a rate as a planning assumption.

Business loan rate explorer FAQs

What business loan data does this explorer use?
It uses public Consumer Data Right product-reference data published by participating Australian lenders. It does not connect to a bank, request consent, or access account, balance, transaction, identity or credit-report data.
Which products count as business loans?
The explorer uses the CDR BUSINESS_LOANS product category rather than guessing from product names. It then keeps periodic fixed or variable rates with an explicit principal-and-interest or interest-only repayment structure.
Why are results ranked by advertised rate rather than comparison rate?
Consumer credit comparison-rate rules do not provide one equivalent ranking measure for every business facility. The explorer therefore orders matching products by the lender's published headline rate and shows fees and eligibility separately in provider details.
Does the lowest result mean my business can get that rate?
No. Results match public product attributes, not lender assessment of your business, security, cash flow, trading history or credit profile. Tailored pricing may differ. Confirm the current rate, fees, eligibility and terms with the provider.
What does the model term change?
It changes the estimated monthly repayment and the values sent to the repayment calculator. It does not filter provider eligibility or imply that a lender offers that term, because the public summary does not consistently publish a structured total-loan term.
