What this estimate includes

  • Reads annual caps and the transfer balance cap from the central tax-year configuration.
  • Uses strict total-super-balance thresholds for one, two or three years.
  • Does not silently restart an arrangement triggered under an earlier year.

Frequently asked questions

How much can I contribute using the bring-forward rule?
The maximum can be one, two or three annual non-concessional caps depending on your previous 30 June total super balance and eligibility.
Can I use the current cap for an arrangement started earlier?
Not necessarily. An arrangement already triggered is governed by the cap and rules that applied when it began, so this calculator sends existing arrangements to a prior-year review.
Does my age affect bring-forward eligibility?
You generally need to be under 75 at some time in the financial year to start an arrangement, alongside the total super balance test.
